Greg Smith

Clinic Owner, Physiotherapist & Certified Hand Therapist

Greg Smith

I opened Kelowna Physiotherapy Associates in November of 2003 with the aim of providing specialized, one-on-one physiotherapy services.

I enjoy a varied case load, treating musculoskeletal injuries with a variety of techniques. I am a graduate (with distinction) of the School of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan. I have completed my Medical Acupuncture Certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada and Intramuscular Stimulation training through Dr. Chan Gunn’s ISTOP Foundation. I have a Diploma of Manual & Manipulative Physiotherapy which is the highest possible designation through the Orthopaedic Division of The Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Off-hours I spend my time with my young family and a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, wakeboarding, golfing and mountain biking.

As a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) I have continued to participate in on-going education on a regular basis. In 2009 I completed the Matheson Functional Work Evaluation course, and have been providing Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) since that time. In my spare time I enjoy biking, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Clare Morrison Kilburn

I have worked with Kelowna Physiotherapy Associates since 2003. My earlier position as Senior Physiotherapist at Toronto’s National Ballet School has enabled me to develop an expertise and passion for the prevention and treatment of dance injuries.

In addition, I continue to pursue post-graduate training in order to combine manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and needling techniques of Acupuncture and IMS to treat clients from all walks and stages of life and help them reach their full potential.

I greatly enjoy the collaboration with my fantastic colleagues at KPA.
